Morning Strength and Mobility Training


The below strength and mobility sessions are extremely beneficial and complimentary to the 5 training sessions plus games that our Elite Academy athletes are already doing.  Working with some outstanding trainers and physio’s at Performance Sports Therapy, this programs works on soccer specific strength/agility and mobility work each mornings. All Elite Academy players are expected to attend one of the available strength and mobility modules below. 

The added time spent working on this mobility and strength aspect is something that will serve to magnify the effort that the athletes are already putting in on a daily basis on the pitch.  It will make the players able to traine and execute at higher speeds, with more effort and precision, all while reducing their risk of injury.  

The training is early, it's awesome, and we hope many of you warriors will join us.   

Program Information:

Once weekly strength and mobility training in the mornings for top athletes in the club.

Tuesdays - 6:45 - 7:30 AM

Thursdays - 6:45 - 7:30 AM

Central Campus (Titan Gym):

Sunday - 10:00 - 10:45 AM


3 semesters are offered:

Fall Semester:  September 22 - December 20, 2019

Spring Semester: January 12 - April 9, 2020

Summer Semester: April 19 - July 18, 2020

Parents please also remember that as OTFC members you get 20% off gym and pool memberships at all City of Ottawa facilities (including Bob MacQuarrie where we will be training).  A number of parents have taken advantage of this, getting their own work-out in while the kids train, before showering up and hitting the ground running.  What an awesome example to set :)
