U5-U8 Skills Centre (Players born in 2018-2015)

GRASSROOTS

First steps... Who is Ottawa TFC?

Ottawa TFC is honored to introduce the beautiful game of soccer to your child. Recognized as a National level club by Canada Soccer, the aim of our U5-U8 Skills Centre Grassroots program is to ensure that your child participates in a safe, fun and social environment, while being introduced to the basics of the game.

What can I expect as new soccer parent?

The U5-U8 Skills Centres are the starting point and foundation of player development at our club. The Skills Centres are open to all young players in Ottawa and are offered at a range of locations and days. The sessions are a fun, productive and popular combination of training and games.

The weekly Skills Centre sessions combine game play with technical and physical development appropriate for children at these ages. We want these players to learn to love the game first! The sessions themselves are run by our most talented senior youth players, who are beginning their coaching journey at the club. The coaches are trained and licensed through Canada Soccer, and guided/supervised by our academy staff coaches.  Players are grouped by age and gender.
