U9-U18 4v4 League (Players born in 2014-2005)

OPEN PROGRAMS

First steps... Who is Ottawa TFC?

Ottawa TFC is honoured to introduce the beautiful game of soccer to your child. Recognized as a National level club by Canada Soccer, the aim of our Open League programs is to have your child enjoy playing the game in a fun, safe and social environment.

What can I expect as new soccer parent?

The Open Programs are an introduction to soccer at Ottawa TFC and a great environment for recreational players.  Whether you are new to the sport and want to try it out or have experience playing but don’t wish to play at a competitive level, these are great leagues and programs in which to enjoy the beautiful game. In a fun atmosphere, players will grow more comfortable with the ball at their feet, increase their skills as players and expand their love of the game.

More about the program...

Balanced teams will be formed by age, ability and gender depending upon attendance, each week. Teams will be formed when the players arrive at the field.  Small sided games (3v3, 4v4 or 5v5) will be played in either our popular “Champions League” format in which teams move "up" and "down" as they win and lose games, or in a classic tournament format with a group stage and playoffs. Games are led by our young technical leads, supervised by a senior staff coach.
